Consignment Dispute Over Korean Art Settled with New York City Dealer

Jan 31, 2010

In February 2008, 64 pieces of Korean celadon tomb ware were consigned by a collector to a preeminent New York City dealer in Korean Art. The dealer ignored the collector’s requests for payment or return of the consigned items.

In January 2010, Christopher A. Marinello contacted the dealer’s partner and negotiated a return of the proceeds of sold items, a complete accounting, and the return of unsold items.

Marinello also obtained a waiver from the dealer for any and all commissions due.
