What time is it? Time to announce the recovery of another stolen Rolex. This €80,000 Rolex 18K YG Submariner was stolen in Paris in 2020 and located in San Francisco in 2024. It was recovered today by Art Recovery International. Compensation paid to the possessor? Zippo. Don't buy stolen stuff.

An interesting aside to this case, the negotiations with the lawyer for the possessor took about 2 weeks, the same amount of time it took to convince UK Customs that no VAT is due on stolen property.
