An interesting case of a prominent family in the port wine trade who had this painting stolen from their Antigua residence in 1997. The painting portrays the family’s Antigua property.

Offered for sale in 2010 at Sotheby’s, Chris Marinello negotiated a release with the consignor and the painting was returned to the theft victim directly in 2011.
