Marcus Stone Paintings Stolen in 1999 Recovered from Christie’s in 2011

A pair of Marcus Stone paintings were reported stolen in 1999 by a collector in Washington D.C. after they disappeared during home renovation work.
The paintings surfaced at Christie’s in New York in 2010. Chris Marinello negotiated the release of the paintings from the consignor for return to the theft victim in 2011.
