Dealers Rightful Commission from Monet Sale Restored

Shifty dealers are often part of art recovery work but once and a while you have good, honest art dealers being cut out of their rightful commission by some unscrupulous collectors and buyers.

This case saw two dealers working hard to put together a deal that would have earned them a $1M commission.  The deal allegedly ‘fell apart” only to be completed by the buyer and seller directly.

Chris Marinello was hired by the dealers to obtain their rightful commission. The case was settled pursuant to a confidential settlement agreement with both dealers pleased at the result.
