Nazi Looted Picasso is the Subject of a Restitution Settlement Agreement
Nov 8, 2006
This painting was the subject of a restitution settlement between the possessor and the heirs of a Jewish art collector in Hamburg, Germany. The picture was traced to occupied Belgium and its then owner was deported to a concentration camp. Chris Marinello, acting on behalf of the heirs (pictured above in front of the painting) negotiated the confidential resolution with the attorney for the possessor.
