Art Recovery International is often hired by attorneys even while the parties are tied up in litigation. This was a multi-dealer dispute in the US District Court involving competing claims to the right to sell several artworks. Each party had their own version of events, of course, and Chris Marinello was brought in to forge an out of court settlement ending the dispute. These are often strictly confidential but amicable agreements that everyone can live with. Litigation is outrageously expensive, time consuming, and can damage the reputation of the parties (and the artwork).
